Calibrations Consulting helps measure the performance of organisations.
Calibration can be defined as a process of measuring performance of a particular instrument/system/process. The term organisation comes from the Greek word Organon which means a tool or instrument and hence the reason the name of the business.
Calibrations Consulting was established in 2014 and have been fortunate to build a solid client base of State, Federal Government departments and the NGO sector and in particular have built a strong reputation in supporting Aboriginal Organisations.
In 2021 Calibrations Consulting welcomed a new Partner to the Business in Julie Porritt and with her clinical, research and academic background this has added additional strength to the offerings of Calibrations.
Both Julie and I share the aspiration that when leading organisations in the human service sector, clients need to feel that the services, they are receiving are helping them live a life that they believed has value.
Julie and I have been fortunate to have had some very good mentors in our careers. People who believed in us and people who we trusted to tell us like it is. This trust was not just about their technical skills or knowledge but was about their integrity, wisdom, and their ability to listen and then challenge.
This is what we want to be able to do through the work of Calibrations Consulting.
Calibrations Consulting is a boutique consultancy specialising in the human services field. The Business works across all levels of government, the NGO service sector and with Community based organisations including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Organisations.
Calibrations Consulting acknowledges the traditional custodians and cultural knowledge holders on the land on which we live and work and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
